Rachael Mullenix, 19, who was convicted last month of killing her mother, Barbara Mullenix, will not be sentenced today. Her sentencing was pushed back to Oct. 10. She faces up to 25-years-to-life in prison for the brutal crime, which was discovered when the victim’s bloody corpse was found floating in Newport Bay.
Her former beau, Ian Allen — also accused in the Sept. 2006 slaying — is on trial right now. Read a story about on his parents’ testimony here.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA…….this will go on for years. This is a horrible story. And right now, somewhere on this planet, more and more kids are killing.
I can’t get over how sad this girl is. She should have thought about the consequences before she commited the crime. Can you imagine, spending the rest of your life in prison starting at such a young age??? eecckk !!
